Picking the DJ for our reception was perhaps one of the hardest things we
had to accomplish. We knew how important a good DJ was to our reception
experience. We had both been to weddings where the DJ was really good and
really bad so we knew the impact our selection would have on our experience.
We spoke with five DJ companies before settling on The DJ Edge. Our decision
was based on Brett’s attitude and energy. He was genuinely concerned that
our ceremony and reception lived up to our expectations. He was full of
ideas and advice but also willing to listen to our requests. Some of the
DJ’s we had met didn’t seem to have our best interests in mind. They were
more concerned with telling us how our reception should go and telling us
all about the music they liked. Brett was willing to listen to our concerns
and address them one at a time.
My wife was very concerned about the flow of the entire day. She was putting
a lot of trust and responsibility in Brett to keep things moving. She had to
trust him for the bride’s processional and her precious walk down the aisle
with her father. These are high expectations for every bride and Brett did a
wonderful job assuring her that everything would be fine. He was true to his
word and we really didn’t even notice him until he spoke at the reception.
We didn’t give Brett a long play-list, we just gave him a list of some of
our favorite music and he did the rest. We trusted in him to read our guests
and the mood of the room. As a result our guests all had a wonderful time
and danced until the end of the last song. Brett kept our reception jumping
from the first dance to the last dance. He played the music we wanted to
hear and took plenty of requests. We had a wonderful experience and didn’t
want the night to end. It was over before we knew it, time flies when you re
having such a good time. The Ridge had to tell us it was time to pack-up, no
one wanted to go home! You’re in good hands with Brett and the The DJ Edge.
If you are at all concerned about your DJ being professional, respectful,
punctual and full of energy you need to hire these guys. They’re real pros
and will not disappoint!

I’ve had the pleasure of working with …The DJ Edge on October 16th, 2004 at
the Grenier/Woodall Wedding
As a Videographer it is a hit or miss when dealing with the DJ vendor while
trying to provide the best audio possible for the bride & groom. I need to
be informed when an event is about to happen such as a toast or cake cutting
and also I may need his/her cooperation in plugging into the mixer board.
I found (The DJ Edge) very helpful in all aspects of providing his services
in order to better accomplish our goal of making the bride & groom happy.
His dedication to the job inspired me to write this letter.

Brett has
been a good friend and acquaintance of ours for a number of years. He was
the DJ at our wedding and did a great job. Brett arrived early to set up and
helped set the mood. He provided some laughs while making the evening
especially memorable. Brett is a fun loving, happy guy and we have had the
privilege not only of knowing him, but enjoying his work at numerous
weddings and parties.
Numerous friends and family not only complimented Brett at our wedding, but
also had him DJ their own weddings and parties. Friends continue to ask us
about the DJ that did our wedding. Having The DJ Edge as your DJ will make

We hired The DJ Edge and Brett Fox for our office holiday party. Brett did
an excellent job! He provided a wide variety of music and had something for
everyone’s tastes. Not only did he provide the music and karaoke – Brett
really managed the entertainment of our entire party. He announced raffle
tickets, contest winners, handed out prizes and encouraged participation
among guests.
What I appreciate most was Brett’s professionalism. He was on time, set up
quickly and was extremely pleasant to work with. Brett knows people and what
the crowds want. He really made the difference in the success of our party.
WestCal Management will be using The DJ Edge for our future events and would
recommend them highly.

My wife and I have known Brett personally for years and count him as a good
friend. We had been to many occasions where Brett was a DJ, so when we
decided to get married, finding a good DJ was not a problem. The music at
our wedding was just as we wanted it. In fact, we received quite a few
compliments from guests. If you want a quality DJ with good music, choose
Brett!

Brett Fox was the DJ at my wedding and I would not hesitate to hire him
again for any occasion. He obviously has extensive experience as he really
helped my wife and I with ideas for planning the event. While he executed
our plans with precision, he also played a tasteful selection when our play
list was exhausted. He conducted himself professionally, yet was also able
to lend a certain welcome energy to the festivities. I would recommend him
to anyone for any event.
